It is required that you have reached IKO Level 2 (or similar) in order to rent gear to use on your own. If you do not have a certified IKO Level 2 card we will need to assess you, after which time we will provide you with certification that you can use worldwide. There is a flat fee of $50 for this assessment. It is also required that you have insurance or you will need to sign up to AKSA to cover yourself and third parties, there is a $60pa fee.
We provide 2008 gear including Ocean Rodeo Rise Kites, Liquid Force Kiteboards and Dakine Harnesses. Costs are:- $40/hr, $80/day, $200/3 days or $350/2 weeks.
Please include dates of hire in notes section when you complete your order through checkout. A 20% deposit is required to hold your equipment, with the balance being payable upon collection. Please also include under notes if you have your IKO certification or if you require assessment ($50) and if you require AKSA insurance ($60). We require your credit card and drivers licence details as you will be required to pay for any repairs required on the kite or kiteboard and if stolen or unrepairable you will be liable for the full cost of the item.
