Our Beachclub in Dahab offers superb conditions for newcomers wanting to taste a kite surfing holiday in Egypt.
• Wide sandy beaches, steady winds and a designated kitesurf lagoon ensure a fabulous environment for learning to kitesurf. Egypt, especially Dahab, with its tidal lagoon is best suited to newcomers.
• Initially, kiteflying skills are learnt on the beach, before moving to the water to learn body drags and basic manoeuvres on the board itself. With the encouragement of our instructors, the sport is made approachable and understandable. Due to the tidal nature of the lagoon lessons take place in the morning or afternoon in Egypt. Kite surfing is not possible at certain times of the day so the course will be structured around these times and allocated once in resort.
• An Egypt holiday Kitesurfing in Dahab is not recommended for more experienced kitesurfers. However experienced kitesurfers and those bringing their own equipment are able to use Dahab’s kitesurf lagoon, though local limitations apply to other areas of the bay, where safety cover is provided for sailors and windsurfers only.
• Instruction for beginners is provided by our own BKSA/IKO qualified instructors.
• Kitesurfing in Egypt packages including tuiton and equipment are priced at £180 for 10 hours. The times of this tuition are not fixed in advance, allowing our expert staff to select the best wind and tide conditions for you to learn.
When not kitesurfing you can try your hand at a range of inclusive activities including dinghy sailing, mountain biking and tennis.
