CLUB MISTRAL - SKYRIDERS
For those wishing to have an introduction to kitesurfing or train with the best the ideal base is Sky Riders. The centre run beginner to advanced IKO based courses and hire the latest 2008 Kite from North and Naish.

The center has an ideal location on the main beach of El Yaque with a good size private grassed area for kiting up. This is essential in El Yaque as the beach is quite shallow and busy so it is important to have a fended off area. The launch from the main beach is note ideal as it has a big wind shadow and can be very busy with both kiters and local sunbather who seem oblivious the dangers ! Therefore Skyriders will take students to Kite Beach, a 10 minute boat ride up wind, where there is more space, no wind shadow and an area of shallow flat water to practice.
