Kite Adventures prides itself on the local knowledge and kiting experience our guides have. We have personally travelled to each location and tested the waters, so we know the best spots for various wind directions and conditions. Kite Adventures tours are all-inclusive: you can leave your worries behind and maximize your time on the water. We're hooked in with the local scenes, as well as some of the top rated hotels in the areas we visit.
Sure it's easy to rent a 4x4 or hire a truck company and be "toured" around the areas, but will they help you with a broken kite line, when you're having trouble with the language, when you're your being charged "Gringo" prices? We are there to be part of your experience, to show you areas you never could find on your own. We want you to come down and feel like a part of the Kite Adventures family, and spend each new day exploring different and exciting kite locations around the world.
As kiteboarders, we all know what it's like to chase the wind. While you're with us, we want you to do as little chasing and as much riding as possible. We also have specific beginner tours and activities, so those of you who want to bring a non-kiting friend or companion, can feel at ease while you are out riding.
The wind blows (18-25+ knots) EVERYDAY from July-January so you won't get skunked out of kiting!
Air and water temps are a mild 80-85 degrees, so you can leave your wetsuits at home!
Our tour begins when we pick you up at the airport and take you kiting over 300km of beach in 4x4s from Fortaleza up to Jericoacoara, crossing river mouths by raft, stopping to kite at amazing lagoons, ocean coves and downwinders along the way.
In Paracuru you will stay at the Kite Adventures house and have unlimited use of our personal buggy. You can downwind until your heart's content!
Finally, we reach Jericoacoara, an incredible little oasis and former fishing village -- a town built on the sand, surrounded by massive dunes. We'll take you in dune buggies or 4x4s to kite and end the days with the famous Jeri downwinder.
When the tour is over, we return you to Fortaleza where you can catch your flight or stay a few more nights on your own.
We design our tours so it's the perfect combination of kiting, nightlife, and as much sun as you can handle! By the end of the trip, you're one of the Kite Adventures crew. We share stories, photos and friendships from the beginning of the tour through months after. Just look at what our clients say below...

Below see what some of our kiters have said about us:
"This was the best kiteboarding trip I've ever been on; that's why I'm coming back again and again!
- Pro-Kiteboarder, Dimitri Maramenides, NC
"Your 10 day Kite adventure downwinder was literally one of the best trips ever, I'm hesitant to give it such accolades as I don't want to be shut out (due to the popularity it deserves) when I book it again next year. I really appreciate how hard you all worked to make it exceptional."
- Chad Nichols, CA
"I just got back from a Kite Adventure in Brazil. Book this trip, it is worth every effort! I have been to DR, PR, MX, HI, etc. Nothing can compare to the conditions and variety of spots we had in Brazil. Flat, freshwater lagoons, side-on head high waves, freeride, freestyle, touring. The food, the people, this is the only destination of the sort. Send IT!"
-Byron Cleary, CA
Kite Adventures gives you a rare opportiunity to see and kite along parts of the northeast coast that you would never get to experience if traveling by bus or on your own. The tour allows you to completely relax and enjoy your time in Brasil. There are none of the typical worries or headaches that go along with unassisted third world travel - missed buses, flakey tour guides, exorbitant "tourist" prices, eight people telling you eight different things. The nice thing about Kite Adventures is that it is all inclusive and it is chill - I can't think of a better way to maximize your Brasilian kitesurfing experience.
-Nick Smith, WA
"The world's only kite trip of 1 worry. You don't have to worry about hotels, transportation, food, getting lost, dealing with the locals, finding secret kitespots, or wondering who will pick you up after an epic 10km downwinder. Your 1 and only worry is keeping your lines straight. Have fun."
- Tom Reilly, CA
"I am still seriously "decompressing" and can't get motivated enough to do anything but think about what an absolutely INCREDIBLE time I had. Everything about Brazil: the tour, the crew, the locals, the food, the women, Jeri, and last but not least the KITING, has exceeded my expectations tenfold."
- Chris Kadyszewski, PA
