REAL is located in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, internationally recognized as the best place to kiteboard in the U.S., and the East Coast's #1 surfing destination. REAL is the largest kiteboarding school and retailer of kiteboarding equipment in the world. In 2008 alone, we taught over 6,000 new riders. Our favourite (and most successful) way of teaching is our industry leading "Kite Camp" program. REAL Kite Camps were recently ranked the “#5 Adventure Camp in the World” by Outside Magazine and OLN.

We operate a full-service kite, surf and stand-up centre in Cape Hatteras. The REAL Flagship Store is stocked to the gills with premium quality gear and utilizes the latest teaching techniques with over 20 professional coaches.

The REAL Flagship Store, REAL Lesson Centre and REAL Rental Shop were designed and built for YOU to maximize your experience in Cape Hatteras whether you are coming to kiteboard, surf, stand-up paddleboard or just to enjoy the beach.
