Trip Highlights

Safaga is 50 Km from South of Hurghada, with its charming Bay, is and remains the guarantee of a relaxing windsurfing and water sports holiday. The TORNADO Surfcenter is located directly on the beach of Holiday Inn Resort with 15metres walking distance from the shore. If you are lucky with your room, not much further from your bed!! What makes Safaga Bay really special is that it's still not overcrowded and remains untouched from the crazy development, together, of course, with the familiar and friendly atmosphere that you will find in the TORNADO Surfcenter. This Beginners package includes our full beginner 12 hour course and all equipment hire. Each instructor takes maximum 4 students. We teach in an area with no other people or other things that get in the way. The place is called Kreazy Bay and offers 2 km of shallow water, 800 meters wide perfect for beginners and a deeper area for advanced or pro riders.

Itinerary

A normal day at the centre:
Meeting in the centre at 8:45
packing materiel and make sure we got it all with us on the boat
9:00 Boat leaves
Lessons start around 10:00
Lunch is served between 12:30-13:30
and then the afternoon lessons start again
15:00 preparations for the downwind
15:30 5km down wind starts for the people who have the skills
we get back some were between 16:00-17:30 depending on the wind and the people
then we bring all materiel back to the boat and have an after kite beer and debriefing

Normally we all meet again in the evening for dinner at one of the small cheap restaurants and maybe a drink at the local bar

Should there be a non windy day we organise activities like:
- Paintballing in our dessert ghost town ( the town was deserted in 1995 so its a real town and its GREAT)
- Snorkelling with the kite boat
- Diving
- 4x4 or quad trips in the dessert
- Horse or camel riding

During the course you will learn:
