Generally done anywhere around the coast kitesurfing is an exciting mixture of board riding and wind sports. Due to massive developments it has never been safer and easier to learn. With this impressive sport you'll soon be going big and expressing yourself with your own style. Kiting is a great way of helping you understand the wind and the waves, within no time you'll be searching out the ideal location like many others around the world. The 1 day IKO kitesurfing course is aimed at the complete novice. (please ask for upgrade options and prices) This is an introductory course so no previous experience is required, any previous kite flying experience would be an advantage but not essential. Other board sports would also be an advantage. All participants must be able to swim 50m.

The course will focus on:

> Intro the equipment
> Safety precautions
> Beach awareness, winds directions, setting up
> launching & landing the kite
> Controlling the kite whilst entering and exiting the water
> Relaunch a kite from the water
> Perform a deep water self-rescue
