Trip Highlights

Kiteboarding is a fast developing sport and there are many fast developing schools out there. We have been instructing Kiteboarding safely and successfully for already 4 years. We have a teaching program developed according to IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) standards. We are not about two days fast courses like many other schools. Our goal is for our kite campers to become safe and fully self-sufficient kiters ready to enjoy the sport by themselves once they finish their instruction with us. Our lessons provide a proven step-by-step approach to learn Kiteboarding safely and quickly. Our instructor have been formed & trained by IKO. Costa N-Oeste Kiteboarding Academy is a Naish Pro Center counting with the latest Naish equipment. We offer a low student-to-teacher ratio. We count with two water support & rescue vehicles ( Jet Ski & Zodiac).. We impart radio-assisted classes and provide state of the art equipment, safety systems as well as helmets and life vests. At the end of the instruction, the Kite camper is accredited with the Kiteboarder Card form the IKO stating the level achieved during his instruction. We impart kiteboaridng classes every day Sunday included.

Accommodation Details

Accommodation: On private1 room apartments for 2 persons and 2 rooms apartments for 3-4 persons.

The campers will have the option to choose between two locations for the accommodation;. La Santa & Caleta de Famara.

Both locations are small fisherman towns on the North-Western coast of Lanzarote. The differences between La Santa and Famara (besides the price) are the following;

All the apartments in La Santa are all together on a small, nice apartment complex 50mtrs from the ocean whereas in Famara the apartments are somehow scattered around the small town (all within 100 mtrs. max form the beach). This makes La Santa a great place to live the surf camp experience and live door by door with other campers. The other difference is that in La Santa there are some of the best reef breaks of Europe but there is no beach, In Famara, there is a 5 Km. beach and it is where we hold our surfing and Kiteboarding classes. All apartments in Famara are within walking distance to the beach.

All apartments have 1 or 2 bedrooms as well as bathroom, dining room, and kitchen. All apartments in La Santa have terrace. Of course all apartments in both locations are fully equipped and linen and towels are provided. We pick up and deliver back people at La Santa's apartments for the surfing and kiteboarding class days.

Single traveler Supplement: 80 Euro Per week Single travelers must add this 80 Euro supplement to the price for the camp.
Single travelers´s accommodation consists of a private room an a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment (max occupancy 2-3 persons per apartment).

Non Participants: People wanting to accompany a friend or partner non participating in any of the Surf or Kiteboarding courses are also welcome. These are the prices per week and non-participant;
