We offer kitesurfing lessons for the complete beginner, all the way up to an advanced rider Whats amazing about this sport is that a complete novice can be up on a board and riding after only 4 to 6 2hr Lesson. We will provide you with the latest kite boarding gear and teaching methods, all our water lessons are done with radio helmets so you get the best communication and advice while in the water. The easiest and safest way to get into this sport is by doing lessons, we all learn at our own pace as with anything and everything in life but we will do our best to get you up and riding in the shortest time possible!

Private Lesson:-
R990 for 2hrs (Instructor all to your self)

Group Lesson:-
R495 for 2hrs (no more than two students per instructor, this way you get lots of personal attention)

Langebaan Lesson:-
R1190 Full day in Langebaan transport included (we offer this lesson only for the board riders)

Itinerary

When:-
Lesson are run 7 days a week, but are weather dependent!
Our private and group lessons are run at 10am,1pm and 4pm we also offer double lessons when the weather conditions are ideal
Our Langebaan lesson leaves at 0930am and returns at 1730pm

Bring Along:-
All equipment required for our lessons we will provide, so the only items you will need to bring along are: towel, costume, hat, sun protection, sunglasses and anything else you may need for yourself.

Northern Peninsula
The Northern part of the Cape Peninsula is where most of the kiting and windsurfing in Cape Town takes place. It's fast paced (for South Africa), with lots of restaurants and roller bladers on the beach front.

Sunset Beach
Sunset beach has the most consistent wind in the peninsula. The wind is generally 20% stronger than Big Bay and is best in the morning, before it gets blown out. There are several access point to the beach at various parking lots, and it can handle hundreds of kiter's/windsurfers without seeming crowded. Cross offshore winds beach break conditions. Good all-round conditions for riding and jumping.

Dolphin Beach
Popularly known as Kite Beach, this spot is recognized as one of the premier water sports beaches in the world. With our shop within a stones through, new ablution facilities and the most incredible views of Table Mountain from across the bay, this beach is a must for any level, from novice to expert. The wind is usually side shore, starting in the morning and building through the day.

Big Bay, Bloubergstrand
Big is the home to many years of water sports competitions. It has a pleasant grassy rigging area and the parking area overlooks the bay, so its great for the family. A shop, showers and ablution facilities are all available. In summer Big Bay has side-shore to side-onshore winds, beach break wave conditions.
Excellent for jumping, average for wave riding. Big Bay is a reliable beach for a pretty good session and can be unbelievable a few times a year.

HakGat
For the more advanced sailor, HakGat only works when the swell is big. It’s a reefy point between Big Bay and Melkbos. Wave riding can be amazing. No road signs, ask a local!

Melkbosstrand
Melkbos picks up more swell but less wind than Tableview beach front, so its often the best option when its flat and windy after a few days of South Easter. The beach is very wide, not great for spectators or family, and there are no facilities. Cross shore and occasional cross offshore winds with beach break conditions. Good for wave riding and wave jumping.

We are based at Kite Beach Cape town and we have a wide choice of self-catering accommodation facilities available, all within minutes of the beach front. We can also arrange your accommodation for your trip of a lifetime Kiteboarding around the rest of South Africa.
